Wilbur Wright College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago, is seeking a Solar Voltaic Installation Instructor – Part Time to work in Chicago, IL

As a Solar PV Installation Instructor at Wilbur Wright College, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a curriculum that prepares students for the NABCEP Solar PV Installer Associate exam. You should have experience working in solar installation and previous teaching or training experience. In addition to technical knowledge, you should have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of students and staff. Familiarity with national electrical codes and OSHA-10 construction certifications is preferred, and proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates degree required.
• NABCEP certification required.
• Knowledge of national electrical codes article 110, 300 and 690 preferred.
• NCCER and OSHA-10 construction certifications preferred.
• 3+ years working in solar installation.
• Previous teaching or training experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse group of students and staff.
